AoF: Skirmish – 150pt beginner lists

I’m new to One Page Rules. I’m still learning the ins and outs. This may not be the strongest way to start a blog post, but I’m frankly making this post because I haven’t had much luck finding a better one that serves its purpose.

And what is that purpose? To create and share a bunch of army lists that make dipping toes in the waters of Age of Fantasy: Skirmish easier. It’s hard to learn a game without playing it. It’s hard to play a game without necessary resources.

What follows are links to my in-progress army lists for beginner play. The goal is to create lists across factions that are relatively balanced for play against each other, don’t require a ton of printer time to produce, and don’t rely on too many gimmicks. At the time of initial posting, these lists should be considered alpha builds. Once I get builds to a place I like them, I’ll publish them to the official Army Forge RTP lists for the format.

At this point, every official faction that is not divided into subfactions now has a list here. An additional note on “official factions,” I’m applying the bold typeface to factions that have official OPR minis available on MyMiniFactory.

Update 12/12/2025: Added Shadow Stalkers, Sky-City Dwarves, Vampiric Undead, Volcanic Dwarves, and Wood Elves. With this, I now have lists for all of the factions that lack subfactions. I’ll likely have to come back to get those missing subfactions, especially with Rift Daemons getting more support for Patreon subscribers in the near future.

Update 11/20/2025: Added Ogres, Orcs, Ossified Undead, and Saurians. Skipping Guilds for now.

Update 11/17/2025: Added Havoc Dwarves, High Elves, Human Empire, and Kingdom of Angels lists.

Update 11/2/2025: Added Ghostly Undead, Halfings, and Mummified Undead lists.

Update 10/30/2025: Added Duchies of Vinci, Dwarves, and Eternal Wardens. Applied bold typeface to factions that have official OPR minis available on MyMiniFactory.

Update 10/29/2025: Added Beastmen, Chivalrous Kingdoms, and Deep-Sea Elves. I think I’ll just work alphabetically through the official factions. Also, settled on this generic description for all of my lists: “A quick and dirty 150pt list that’s cheap to print and easy to play.”
